The first Crowd-Engineering deal is close to being signed. In the past weeks Aveltech developed a carbon fiber reinforced Airbox based on the Pipercross PX600 platform. Our goal was to improve the equal distribution of the cylinder charge while minimizing the size. This allows the Airbox to be placed in a small motor package, i.e. a super-seven. In addition, it is possible to equip a second fuel-rail, which enhances fuel management at high rotational speeds.

Because of a great feedback to the deal within a short period of time , we decided to fund the costs of development for the project and to not only offer the Airbox to our twelve deal-backers, but to everybody else who is interested in it. To make the Airbox meet as many demands as possible, we developed a modular design. This means we can offer it to you – custom-designed for your needs – starting at 550€.

After a successful testing of the prototype, tools for manufacturing have to be made now. There are twelve people desperately waiting – we will keep you updated.
